Studio MATERIAL

My journey with woodworking began about nine years ago.

Curiosity has always guided me. I have always been drawn to creating — to working with my hands and discovering what materials can become.

I grew up in a home of craftsmen, where the connection to the land, to nature, and to the treasures surrounding us was simply part of everyday life. That quiet relationship with natural materials has stayed with me ever since.

One day, almost by chance, I came across a woodcarving video on YouTube and decided to try it myself. What began as an experiment slowly grew into a practice.

Since then, I have carved hundreds of spoons, kitchen utensils, decorative objects, and pieces of furniture.

My work begins with the material. I spend time studying the wood — its grain, its texture, its character — allowing its natural beauty to guide the process. Rather than forcing a shape onto the wood, I try to reveal what is already there.

Every object I create is one of a kind.

My work is rooted in simplicity, quality, and respect for the environment. Most of the time, I allow the raw wood itself to lead the way toward the final form.

I look forward to the future pieces and the new materials I will encounter along the way, and I invite you to explore my work.
